"Through Reg's Eyes"

The Government announcement of April the 7th 2009 on the proposed $43 billion FTTP (stands for fibre to the premise) national infrastructure to 90% of premises coupled with advanced wireless to the other 10% was based on the recommended way forward from the expert panel of which I was privileged to be apart. Not only is this the largest infrastructure project since the Snowy Mountains scheme, it will be transformative of the Australian economy and has set in train significant change in the structure of the telecommunications industry and the whole ICT sector!

While I am not part of the Government’s realisation of the plan, I now provide strategic advise to key industry clients to participate in this transformed industry. Certainly the next ten years are going to be ‘interesting times.’

Coutts Communications is an active participant in the telecommunication
sector of the overall ICT industry both in Australia and Internationally

Coutts works in multidisciplinary teams to provide real world advice on
todays interrelated issues of technology, markets, finance and policy.
